Sp1 v an Autococker

Sp1 v an Autococker

I had an Autocoker, I could strip it down and time it with no problem- I just never got into low pressure systems with it.

the SP1 can fire a huge amount of paint off of one 20oz co2 (because its LP). I don't want to buy an SP marker. Can I do the same thing with an Autococker?

Edit: The reason being I need a marker setup that will "sip" the gas. My Micromag Rt at D-Day this year was a HPA junkie- I could watch the gauge move on my tank every time I pulled the trigger.

low pressure doesn't mean more efficient, in fact it's possible that extreme low pressure may make a gun MORE of a gas hog.

you can certainly sweet spot a cocker and get pretty decent efficiency - but most modern electros will certainly be more efficient than a mechanical gun.

I understand that, like with the 98's LP setup you end up using more volume. What kind of setup would I be looking at to make a Autococker more efficient?

it's all about sweet-spotting the reg and getting the LPR set as low as possible.

Cocker Tech

also, based on my recent barrel tests I would suggest for maximum efficiency under-bore the paint as much as you can w/o causing barrel breaks - this may vary depending on paint shell toughness - but I saw significant improvement in efficiency with tighter paint to barrel matching.
