| Seasoned Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Boca Raton, FL. | How To Get My RVA To Stay On My Pro/Carbine? I recently got a JCS RVA for my Pro/Carbine and i'm having trouble tightning it. Whenever I shoot, the RVA comes loose. It's one of those things that's really hard to tighten. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks! |

| Seasoned Member | When I built a RVA for my old stingray years ago I had the same problem. The threads ended up rather loose, so it would work loose very quickly. Glen Palmer (yeah, suprised me too when chimed in on the discussion) suggested putting automotive form-a-gasket, or RTV on the threads. Puts just enough resistance on the threads to keep it from vibrating loose.
