| MCB Member | Price Check on Avenger AK-1 I have a chance to pick one of these up. They are not in the new or old blue book. Any ideas? A search here doesn't do much. http://www.vintagerex.com/pics/gunpi...ads/ak1_ad.jpg I figured out that they are a Montneel Clone, but that is about it. |

| Yes, one of the many MontNeel clones. Worth adding to a collection for cheap, but otherwise they weren't very good. I pay maybe $50-60 for one, just to have it. (Of course I'm a MontNeel whore, so your mileage may vary) |

| I wouldnt mine picking one up, just to say I have one. They used to be a subcontractor that made the original Icon-Z. When Montneel split, they kept the blueprints, and used it to make there own copy. It never sold well, though was well built. They ended up investing back into Montneel, which was an odd arrangement as they were competing with themselves.

| MCB Member | Dude! I havent seen these in years!! I actually opted to buy one of these that was used instead of a new mega-z when I was shopping around for my first semi.... Yes first The crazy thing shot well for a clone.... I almost liked it better then my megaz I got later on in 96-ish. The only reason I sold it was because it couldnt take any of the Mega-z upgrades and I wanted to get a gas valve for it.... I ended up tradeing it in at a local store for a used hack job Kp-2 that is now my beast or a palmerized gun. I almost wouldnt mind to find one to use now.

| Sure. Someone sold a couple here for that same amount. If you get tired of it, I'd trade you an autococker for it

| MCB Member | Well, I don't really need it. So if anyone else here wants it I will pass on the guys email. His craigslist listing has been deleted. He wants $40 for the gun and $20 for shipping, because he really doesn't want to ship it. $60 total. It was listed in Seattle BTW. |
