Old Carter- price check/identify

came across this beauty on the local craigslist... seller knew it's name but probably not it's value; can anyone give me an idea of it's current value
and possibly the correct name? i'm thinking either a carter comp or carter 90 (see pic w/reciept). thanks guys

...and what is this little doo-hickey? attached to a rod that goes into the tigger frame...

...having the proper papers is always inportant...

i think it will stay with this set-up for now

Definitely a Carter Comp, 100%.

The screw in the back of the frame is to adjust the trigger pull for the Auto Trigger. Screw it in and the trigger goes less far. If you go to far, the marker won't fire. To far out, and the trigger travels to far back, and fires the marker before the bolt seats against the breech.

That receipt is awesome. Carter was on Rosecrans in Hawthorne when I picked up my comp directly from the store, was handed to me by a young Dave DeHaan who worked for Earon at the time. Nice little piece of history there.

thanks for the info.
anyone have an idea on it's value? not looking to sell, just curious as to what these are going for nowadays.
shoots like a champ- got 30 usable shots off a 12g (ran out of balls at that point).
the marker and the Micro CA-II seem to be made for eachother... perfect fit.

Carter Comp

Those old unibody Comps sell for much less than newer Carters, think in the range of $150 to $200. Sometimes they can go as high as $250, but that can be a hard sell.
