| Seasoned Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Tucson, AZ | I have a JAM bolt for my autococker and the spring is still a little strong. The nice thing about that one is that it seals off the air from reaching the ball. I can cycle it against my finger 5 times or so before it gets annoying/painful. I have an old T1 that I'm turning into a pneuFASOR. I finished it last night and should be posting a thread soon. Maybe that could help you and others could help with any ideas for me. Edit: What's a STBB? Not familiar with the acronym. |

| Mod-O-Rator Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Finleyville, PA | I love teh spring loaded JAM bolt I have in my cocker, but it has one issue. When you fire, teh spring lets the bolt pop back (from the energy of expanding gas at the ball) and causes blowback up the feed. Not too bad if you can time it (as you can on a cocker) to compensate or are using a force feed, but it is something to think about.

| Active Member Join Date: Jul 2006 | On a side note, I always thought that raising the weight of the hammer and lowering spring strength helped with pinching. Also, Modding for Absolute maximum flow/efficiency will allow you to reduce spring tension... You'll have to recock on a pinch, which is still better than a break... |
