I have a 68 automag, and i decided that i want to try playing with a wood stock. So i searched around, and i found this. If i am going to make a gun with a wood stock, i want it to be of this, mostly because it is one of the most compact stocks i could find. MCB-060 - M1 or M2 Carbine Wood Stock U.S. Military Original Military, No Hardware, Handguard or Buttplate If it is possible, can anybody do it for me? or suggest sombody who can? Here are pics of my automag, if it makes a differance. ![]() ![]() ![]() I know i am going to have to buy a new barrel, but i want one that looks real, and is also not too much. And how long would it have to be? And what is one one that would work? (suggestions) And also, the total distance of my automag without the barrel is a little less than 8 3/4 in. And i don't know if this is possible, but if i could find a way to switch between a hopper and feed tube insert, i would like to have it.

I'd have to agree with Camo. That's a nice looking barrel

I wouldn't be able to use that barrel to make it look relatively-real, right?

You probably don't have to change barrels. What I would suggest is a shortened stock to fit the small size of the mag, and a pneumatic trigger system. Perhaps even buy a piece of ash, or other moderate hardwood, and cut your own personalized gunstock from it. PM me with questions, I've done four riflestocked guns so far, And plenty of pneumatic triggers. Even a select fire auto/semi with adjustable ROF. |
