| Active Member | A little OT but stick with me... I know it's OT but it's still old/rare, just not a gun. The "MISC" section seems kinda... not right for these. I have this set of old Vents Predator goggles and was wondering if anyone knew if I could get new lenses for them. They are in perfect shape and really comfortable, but the lenses are like 10ish years old and I don't trust them. Thanks.

True and good advice, I have about 4 or 5 Vents lenses that are NOS and I wouldn't use them, they are purely for display purposes only. Like said before, your best bet is to try to convert them over to be compatible with JT's latest parts of today. Good luck, vents rock!

| the MilD MOD | Are NOS lenses really bad? Does Lexan deteriorate with the simple passage of time? How do you know how fresh JT Elite or Spectra lenses are when you buy or order them since they technically could have been sitting in a wharehouse for ten years? I understand the safety aspect of this, but if an item is NOS still in the packaging, I'm not sure it is unsafe. |
