how much damage was done?

so today i was letting my friend shoot my minimag with minimag valve (3.5 oz on set up vertically) he shot the marker 4 or 5 times upsidedown before i could tell him to stop... i am curious as to how much damage that the co2 could do to the orings and the other sensitive internals

Does it leak? If not then no big, run some oil through it and shoot it.

Exactly. No leaks, no muss.
Just don't allow for liquid to enetr the valve become a habbit.
Usually the first sign of wear will be in the "on/off" pin valve section. The usual suspect will be part #104. The teflon oring. Not the large one, but the samaller one. To test if it bad, shoot and hold down the trigger. If it continues to cycle, or hiss. It needs replacing.

usualy the issue is long term liquid CO2 saturating and wreaking the o-rings, or freezing them and having them crack, If neither of these thing happened no big deal. Most of the time the CO2 will just freeze the orings causing them to shrink and that causes leaks that stop once the orings un-freeze.

Shoot some oil through it. If it still leaks, you probably just need to replace a few o-rings.

Shouldn't be a big problem.
