Agreed, 100%! You do not want the front of your reg coming off mid game.

So how exactly are you measuring the torque?
Or are you estimating the amount of manual force?

And don't trust the guages when they say 0; I just shot a fill nipple cap across the room! :-$

That is why you are supposed to depress the pin to check, and the fill nipple itself will rattle a bit with when it is not pressurized.

Cool

It doesn't have a pin valve, it has an on-off.
I left a rubber nipple cap on the QD when I cracked the on-off to check.

You torgue it on with a torque wrench and a Flatline removal tool. Without this tool you really can't do the job correctly, hence the reason AGD only wants Certified AGD techs removing and replacing these regs. There aren't many of these tools in existance. Maybe 3 or 4 total. All handmade.

I received a rebuild kit from AGD with the larger C-clip a few weeks ago, and unfortunately my original C-clip went flying across the room!

Any idea on the size of the stock C-clip? Or should I just go to my hardware store, take a guess and see what fits?

Great job on the guide btw. Thanks!

Better late than never: Sorry, I do no know that size of the c-clip off the top of my head. I will subscribe to this thread so that any further questions get answered a bit faster!
