Metal Mesh Mask from the 1990's - Old Timers Only Please

Hello All,

I have been looking all over for a paintball related item I saw in a magazine back in the 1990's.

It was an all black mask that was made out of metal mesh that was bent and shaped like a JT Softstream mask. It didn't come with goggles, but the idea was you were to use your googles, and attach it to this mask.

Does anyone know what the heck I am talking about? Or better yet, have one or a picture of one.

Thanks

I've posted a ton of scans from paintball magazines from '87 to '91. I'm sure that mask is in there. I'll see if I can't find it and re-post the picture here, when I get home this evening.

I've got one of those! I thought it was homemade. You have to zip tie the goggles in. If I could put new lenses in I'd use it. I tried it on and the main problem it lets a lot of paint through on a direct hit ( it's still better than just goggles).

Yes, yes, yes........those are it.

Cool-Pro, wonder where I can get one, maybe it will help prevent my glasses from fogging up.

I'm pretty sure most fields won't let you use those these days.

Sorry, I assumed that it was an old pic that Crash had found a while back while looking at ebay......goes to show the old saying not to assume anything.

Why? Because the mask and goggles aren't attached to one another?
