| Newbie Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Victoria, b.c. | first time dissasembling and reassembling, i took my gun totally apart, and the put it togeather again, and it wont cock. im new with the parts so could you plz discribe the part youre talking about. ![]()

| Nazi-Treasure Hunter Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Arkansas | Washer first, then o-ring. The Tombstone holds them in place. Figure I'll say that whether it related to your problem or not.. It's one of the cardinal rules of owning an A5. Other than that.. Your not low on air are you? Is the problem that it won't cock at all or that it won't recock? Make sure that metal rod that connects the front bolt/rear bolt is in there. Also make sure the hammer is in rightways, and check the sear spring in the grip frame(I'm assuming you can tell if the trigger spring is in there or not). |

| Newbie Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Victoria, b.c. | i followed all insructions and totally did everything when i dissassembled and reassembled and it still has that stiff cock and echo sound when i pull the trigger when i put in the air, mind you the co2 tank was almost empty, it made a weird sound when i shot and it wouldn't re cock itself, should i take it to a paintball shop?

| MCB Member | Is your drive pin in? The pin that the hammer spring wraps around to keep it's form? If it isn't you would totally tork the spring and it would start acting wonky like that. If it doesn't cock at all, your bolt is in backwards. Everyone does it at least once. The tab on the top faces the rear of the marker. If you are totally out of air, or low on air, the marker won't be able to recock itself. There won't be enough pressure in the CO2 tank to propel the hammer back to the cocked position, so it will auto fire or sound like a loud farting. If that happens, just cock it to silence that and get more air.
