automag velocity adjuster stuck

hey guys,

there's a large screw in the back of my 68 automag's valve which IIRC adjusts velocity. problem being that it's completely stuck. any hints on how to get her unstuck? my automag wasn't gassed up when I was trying this btw. I'm having a feeling it should be gassed up to do this am I correct?

Without air would keep any excess pressure off it. Use a bit of wd-40 or similar penetrating oil on it and let it sit for a little but and see if that helps.
