*Shudders* A question about Viewloader Guns

Ok.

Since picking one of these marvels of paintball ingenuity a couples year back in a bulk buy, I've loaned it out a few times to non-owner friends...now it's not really any better (and most often, worse) then the rentals at local fields, but at least that way they get to take advantage of BYOP days.

Now I've recently picked up a spyder threaded freak back in a trade and it's the only gun I've got that accepts it, which got me to thinking. Will the VL Triton accept any other aftermarket spyder mods? Specifically, I was thinking about finding one of those bolt on Eframes with the name that escapes me, but if the price is right I'll keep an eye out for anything else.

So, does anyone know?

It should take a plastic bolt upgrade so it'll have a little less kick. And then there's the zero cost trigger mod to limit the travel that isn't needed both in the pre and post firing other than what is required to fire and reset the little catch.

Careful, once you're done you may like it enough to use yourself. Two of my favourite markers are basic STBB Piranhas. Simple as a wedge but they have a feel that leaves you thinking you're actually doing something instead of massaging a mouse button....

Here's a few I've built...

The middle one has the most modifications. The grip is an upgrade e-grip made specifically for BE/VL guns. The Pro-Series e-grip. Not made anymore, but they can be found. Pretty good frame, swap out the trigger return spring for a lighter one and it's quite walkable. The circuit board sucks though, 8bps max. I swapped a mini-morlock circuit board (cost more than the grip and gun together) and it will rip 15bps all day long.

Better yet you should restart this thread under a "How to upgrade my dumpy old VL" in the Kingman forum since that's the only one that sort of panders to us STBB lovers. Someone else may have an idea or two as well. Let's keep it public so others can benifit from our stylish prose....

**Edit** Good Point. Closing this thread and moving
