P-12 with air leaks

I have a P-12 that leaks air down the barrel. Very slight leak.

Any ideas?

By "cup seal" do you mean Palmer's Dyna Valve?

No, I mean the seal inside the valve. It's on the end of the valve pin inside the valve. It keeps air from coming out until it's open.

That sounds right, but without seeing it, I really couldn't tell.

I do know any Sheridan cup seal should seal the valve, but I don't know if the pin is removeable or if it's all single-piece.

If you email Palmer's, and tell them you've got a leak down your barrel, they'll help out. They're the experts.

Thanks paintjunque. I've used that before and have a bookmark for it. I just need to know which part to get, but I guess I will just have to break down and take the gun apart first. That just means that I need to NOT lose any of the pieces before I put it back together.

I hear ya, I've done that before. I just replace everything since I have it apart and hopefully I don't have to replace anything else for awhile.

a bad pierce pin/seal assembly causes leaks down the barrel.

a bad chamber plug face seal will leak from around the front frame screw.

this is what you need:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Sheridan-Seal-Ki...QQcmdZViewItem

that kit will also have the chamber plug face seal just in case i'm wrong.

palmers sells these kits as well.
