Is the spring totally missing, or is it just broken? If it's broken, you might be able to fix it depending on how bad. If it's missing, you're SOL unless you find someone with a broken gun and a working Star Feeder (extremely unlikely).

I came across similar springs a week ago........but i cannot remember where! They are like a rolled strip on a sardine can. I can photo and measure the original if need be. Mel - If you get the gun, and find a spring that works and have any issues installing it, post up here as well. I know I have monkeyed around with one a bit and I'm sure other people probably have as well. They're kinda a pain to get wound properly so they work right.
