Splatmaster Mods

Hey guys,
Im just wondering about a few things to overhaul my splatmaster.

Does the Talon CA work and fit on the splatmaster?

If I were to do valve and bolt work on it, what should I do?

On Punisher Custom forums he mentions that he designed a CCI Phantom based valve system, does anyone know anything about that?

Any ideas on how to make this a pump gun with the pump at the front but without it snapping back every time I shoot it? (So I dont take off my fingers haha)

Thanks!

well, to make a splatmaster a pump would be hard, because it has no hammer.....the barrel actually moves and thats what opens the valve, when you pull the trigger the barrel moves back and hits the top hat thingy on the valve which opens it up. personally my favorite mod i did to the splatmaster (though its a bit ugly) is drill a super tiny hole in between the splattys tubes towards the end of it, and thread a tiny screw in it to better hold the body shells together, this 100% fixes your tubes going completly to the back problem As for valve work, eh, not sure, guess you could toy around with differant valve/mainspring combos...see what feels like it works best. I think the splattys ineffeciency is mostly cause its design and almost all plastic parts though, lol. the talon ca adapter will not work on the splatmaster. Best bet would be some kind of dummy 12 gram setup with a remote, you'd need a hole somewhere on the splatty to run a hose out of though.

you can use the screwin part of the talon adapter, and then use 1/8" brass fittings to a remote it was done all the time back in the day.

As for valve work, thats a tricky one since the metal is so soft and easy to screw up, i try not to go in there unless you have to.

This is my favorite. Of course, I don't really know of any others... This one is store bought too. I got it on ebay brand new for like 6 bucks.

Behold, a speed loader.

I have done several upgrades to my Splatmaster and others in the past. The best upgrade yet would have to the brass barrel and aluminum slider. Next would be a velocity adjuster. Here shortly I will have some kits up for sale...

That looks suspiciously like the splatty I sold you a month or so ago with the ballistic nylon holster...all the way down to the #1 on the side, but that one didn't have the speed wheel.

Butcher.
