A "Big Bore" gun like a Carter made to shoot Nelson paint was at least .691"+. I've noticed that balls sit lower in the tubes now. So what would be considered the current average barrel ID? .684" or something like that? Yup yup I know that barrel kits make this somewhat of a moot point. Yet what is the average? |

But this is probably because it fits *most* paint using an open bolt semi. Most paint I run across is around ~.684ish. Measuring the bore size using a 10 round tube is definately key. If i'm using a gun that i don't have a barrel kit for, that's usually how I tell if it's going to be a good day or not. -Rayn |

I'll probably end up buying two or three barrels but wanted to get a feel of what to start out with if I just purchase a single tube. |
