Merlin front block screw

Sirs/Ma'ams,

I recently picked up a Merlin front block for a Mini-retrofit im doing on an OLD cocker. It dodnt come with the screw so I also had to pick up a Merlin block screw new from AKA. However, the lady on the phone could'nt tell me what size the threading is. Does anyone know so I dont have to wait for the screw to show up to measure and buy the tap? For those not in the know this is'nt your average 2K front block screw...I can fit my thumb through the hole in the friggen block.

Thank you, that makes sense considering the Melrin bodies were extruded with the same ID the entire length of the lower tube. Looks like I dont have to go out and get the tap...I already have it from my IVG excursion.

Edit: actually the IVG is 3/4"-16 guess I will be buying a new tap...

FWIW, I always check Wholesale Tools (wttool.com) for those odd-sized taps I'll only use a couple times. They're almost always cheaper than anyplace else.

I remember $6 for the tap for a 'cocker 4-way ($30 or something for the next cheapest place), and something like $18 at one point for a 'cocker barrel tap. Was even the right oversize, IIRC.
