Who made this 'Cocker body?

Hi,
I bought this '97 or older Autococker on Ebay and was wondering who did the milling.
It was advertised as an ANS.
It does have an ANS velocity adjuster (non IVG style). Other than that, no markings.

Very purple!

Looks like a Taso body.

I used to have one in a gun metal blue, but not so many matching parts. The serial number was close as well.

Its really cool to get so many matched parts.

And purple pneumatics have been running cheap on eBay lately...

Corrrect.
I knew that it was a WGP body, but would like to know who milled them.

I'll add another pic of what was said to be a TASO that my team mate picked up two years ago.
Can anyone ID this one as well?

This one is getting a pump kit.
Thinking Vendetta Deluxe or a CCM with silver hardware & purple translucent pump handle.

I had an identical body that was variously identified as a Carter, a Taso, and a Taso milled by Carter when he worked there.

Carter designed the milling for Taso as his milled cockers of the time were exorbitant and the cash from this made for a nice buffer.

I concur. That was back in the days when Ken Kidd from Navarone & Mikey from GBD were working for Earon.

Now, I'm not an expert but I have looked at lots of pictures due to an interest in Carter stuff. I agree that the purple body looks to be one of the relatively common Taso units. That green one however looks more unique, and may be done by Carter. The reason I say this is that the green cocker has different milling than other Taso bodies I've seen and that barrel looks like what I have seen described as a Carter barrel. Unfortunately, its almost impossible to ID these 100% it seems because so many look similar.

Now I have noticed that the milling on the upper part of the receiver goes in 2 different directions on different models. For instance the milling goes toward the front on yours and toward the back on the Maui Wowie.

I've been told that the Carter milled ones point back and the Carter designed TASO ones point forward, but I couldn't verify the accuracy of the statement.
