Give Scarecrow a try. He might be able to do that for you.

Now that the inspiration has been received, all you need is the parts (Winchester big loop lever, etc.), the gun and, of course, the know how.

Good luck,
D.

Here a couple of old pics of that gun, that I believe is named "Justice". These pics are either just before or just after the gun earned her quarter by eliminating Glenn Palmer.

I am sure this gun has been much changed and adapted in the last three years, but you get the idea. For one thing, she now has that quarter that she won from Glenn embedded in the stock.

That is a unique looking little brute. I could build you one similiar. You would have to supply the talent needed to pull off the twirl-cocking seen in Weltman's video. He's got the skills to make it look easy, I'll wager that it isn't.

I'm getting a lot of requests for Levers here lately. For a while I wouldn't touch them because that is BretG's domain. I have his blessing to do them now as long as I don't copy his design. That I am OK with.

Well by studying those pictures and that video, I can see its definatley a sheridan side feed with a kp trigger group. Do you all suppose that it is spring fed? I think i've got his move down to by slowing the video down to seperate panels. (not that thats the most important thing:D ) I'm guessing that the body is that of a kp2sc with the spring feed conversion. The stock seems to be a one-off, and I looked up winchester loops; only to find them to be more a lot more of an oval. I suppose he could have attacked it with a torch to make it rounder. Either that or there are more styles of loops out there then I found (more than likey). And just out of curiosity; Scarecrow, how much do you think you would charge for somthing like that? (the lever conversion) And would you be able to fabricate the body? (I remember you were selling brass stock on your site but I forget If you ran out) feel free to pm me. Could I get Bret G to do it? suggestions?

P.S. Might anyone else have pictures of this famed "Justice"?

Weltman modified his lever loop to be able to pull this trick off.

Basically if I would build one from scratch on a sheridan cartrige valve. Spring feed. I would probably cast the lever loop out of brass w/steel inserts on the wear points. Knowing that it would be for twirl cocking inserting a bearing in the hinge might be a good move. It would need to be VERY smooth.

Price would depend on just how extreme you wanted to go on the details. Basic marker, almost entirely scratch built would be around $400.

Dream version of this marker would be spring feed from the bottom tube, 12 gram inside the pistol grip. Probably looking at around $550 for such a beast.

I'm currently out of brass barrel stock but hope to scrape up the $$$ to get some ordered soon.

Weltman's gun is NOT spring fed.
