Bowsight on a marker?

Next to playing with my marker I like to play with my bows and arrows.
I was looking to fit a sight on my new marker and was wondering; why not put a bowsight on my marker?
I was thinking about a multipin huntersight, because a paintball behaves much like an arrow when shot.

Has anyone tried this before?
Any tips, photo's?

I thought this before too, the multi range compatibility of a multipin would be awesome, the only issue is you don't have the window on a bowstring, so you would have to mount one. That and they are kind of large.

i've thought about it myself too. never have done it though. don't see why it couldn't be done. you would need some sort of peep site as aqua stated.

That's not a bad idea!
There are offcourse multipin crossbow sights, I don't know how they mount though.
I have even seen a picture once of a crossbow reddot sight.
It has three red dots in it........

I had a quick look around.
Reddots for crossbows have three dots for 20, 30 and 40 yards and are made for 300 fps, sounds familiar..................?

But that is a detour from the subject, so back to the bowsights, any idea's?

My 2 cents.. I dont place much stock in sights that are more than a "ghost ring" or more than a "v" with a bead on the front. With the accuracy that you get with a paintball, it isnt really worth it.

You shoot one gun enough in the same configuration your aim will be second nature and reflex, and you dont have to buy either of those.

Ive been severly interested in putting one one the large bowscopes on a marker.Its just a round piece of glass with crosshairs on the lense

I rigged a fiberoptic sight pin to fit in my wwa ghostring.

All of the bow sights i've seen looked like they would get annihilated by a direct hit from a paintball. Food for thought...
