I just tried my asa from my tagmaster, and it fit in the phantom. the thumbscrew lines up and the powertube assembly is swappable(not the tubes).
the phantom one is very slightly longer so you might get the hammer and bolt cocking with no air on it but it should work.

So I need to swap all the guts and it should be fine right? Or do I need to put in the trracer guts and use a phantom tube?

I got it coming to me now, anything else I need to buy?

you need to put all of the guts and everything from your traccer in the valve body above.

I'm doing this right now too. No you cannot use the power tube from a phantom (which sucks!), since the Trracer power tube is stubby and the hammer has the rest of the power tube connected to it. You would need to replace the trracer hammer with some other hammer, that doesn't have the power tube attached to it, but I haven't found one that works with the bolt. (ie a normal nelson hammer won't work with the trracer bolt)

I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a Kenimex Blackhawk pump, and it has internals that are a clone of a Trracer, but different enough. Apparently they are a lot like a WWP Razorback (?). But anyways, the hammer is compatible with the trracer bolt, and doesn't have an attached power-tube, instead it has a much longer and fatter power tube than a phantom's. Though when I tried to use this in my Trracer, the pumping action became very rigid and there was lots of friction. So anyways, my answer is, I dunno if you can swamp internals... now I'm rambling...

So... a phantom valve body, with Trracer internals and Trracer power tube does not work?

I believe there is some actual modding neccesariy. It's not a simple drop in part. Though I've seen enough people using the Phantom valve and such so they can run a vert air set up, that it can't be too terribly difficult.

The brass valve nut from the trracer does not fit the phantom valve body and the trracer power tube is to fat to fit through the phantom valve nut. The hammer and bolt of a phantom do not work in a trracer and the the trracer hammer and bolt do not work with a phantom power tube as is.

Now you could possibly take a phantom powertube and cut it down to resemble a trracer stubby power tube and get it to work.

There are some older trracer parts that fit long powertube but those are really hard to find.
