Tribals on CO2

Hi there y'all. Had anyone ever used a Tribal with CO2? I'm wondering if it will handle CO2 when used from a properly siphoned tank?

If you have any experience with this, I would appreciate hearing about it.

I used mine that way for a little while. You should be OK as long as you keep liquid out and use a C02 friendly lube. I ran dual stabs, but a male stabalizer + Anti-Syphon should be fine. I threw the female on since i didn't have an anti-syphon tank.

Also you don't want to use the DOW lube. AFAIK it doesn't like C02 and will gum up on you and make the ram sticky. Clean as much of it off as you can and run lots of regular Air Gun oil through it.

use anti-siphon, co2 safe lube, a good co2 reg, and urethane o-rings available from airsoldier and you can run one on co2 all day.

Ran one on anti-siphon with a CP long body reg with no problem at all. I dont recommend the stock reg though, it'll ice real quick.

I think jwigum over on paintmagazine used on with co2 to prove the wrong wrong.

I think he had a dual reg setup and he fired a whole 20 oz full auto until it was ice and it worked no problem. Just some cold regs.
