I'll be checking with local scuba shop about an adjustable output tank reg.

Thanks Guys, i will be picking up one of those ninja whips. Now, does anyone know what kinda reg i can use to lower the output pressure of my SCUBA to within the 850psi range?

Send an email to Palmer's Pursuit Shop asking about an Inline Stabilizer capable of 3000psi input, with an 8-900psi output. they can do it.

You take a standard scuba fill station and remove the quick disconnect from the end. Attach the Inline Stabilizer where the quick disconnect went, then run a remote line from the Stabilizer to your marker. That simple, and probably cheaper than any other method.

Why on earth would you want to run from a scuba to an HPA to your marker? by increasing the volume for the gas to expand, you decrease your usable pressure and volume.

I use a standard remote line - but I attached it to a scuba fill station.

so I use this:

but I take the part off that you would normally connect to the tank fill nipple - and I install a remote coil first - then use the remote quick disconnect into the fill nipple on an air tank. That way I'm dumping the air at 3k psi into the paintball tank and using that tank's reg to output to my gun.

So this is more of a concept to fill an HPA tank from a SCUBA tank, right? For some reason I was picturing you on the field with a SCUBA tank strapped to your back and a hose coming off the SCUBA tank to the tiny ATS-10.

well, actually, it is about directly powering the at-10 with the tank, only it will be run through a reg, then a fill station, then a fill station whip, then into the gun. The tank will be on my back. The only thing i need to know now is what kind of regulator i will need to drop the 3000psi tank to into the 850-900psi range

If you don't want to mess with getting the scuba tank down to 800 psi you could stick a 13 ci tank on your gun - then cascade through that tank as has been described. That way the parts on your gun are minimal. You could also use two remote lines - cascade the first into the fill nipple port on the 13 ci tank - mount that tank to the side of the scuba tank - then use a regular remote to get to your gun.
