If I'm reading that right the whip line will still have the full tank pressure on it. Again, I offer the suggestion that there's too much likelyhood of eventual or accidental damage to the line that would result in it tearing loose or bursting for my tastes. Hell, 850 is bad enough from all I've seen and read on the 'net about burst lines and other mishaps. Do look at the idea of putting a paintball tank reg into a scuba regulator yoke instead. It would produce a far safer setup.

Another nice mod in such a case would be to replace the fill nipple with a bleed valve so you don't need to shoot down the pressure to remove the yoke.

I've got some diving regulators and CO2 pin valves here that I'll look at shortly to see just how easy such a mod would be. Hell, what I'm suggesting would be nice for myself for testing my paintball guns.

Checked my stuff and this looks to be a very doable project. I'm going to drop into the local scuba shop to see if they have some first stages that are beyond servicing that I can get for cheap just for the yokes. Then there would be one adapter to be made that would accept the threads for the paintball tank reg as well as making up a bleed valve to replace the fill nipple.

More in a few days when I can talk to the dive shop.

O ring sealed fittings. with out seeing a pic they are most likely an O ring base fitting. they are common. used a lot for hydraulics. I get to deal with them every day in logging equipment.
