Milling Ti isnt that hard, just takes a different mind set than Aluminum. What do you need milled?

I liked seeing that TI ultralite back on ebay the other day.

Some $125, $150?

Awesome.

You can get ti boomstick backs for cheap, especially in non cocker threads.

No info on machining, sorry for the clutter

You really just need some very high quality cutters and you must go slow in terms of the depth you cut, feed rate, and tool speed.

Ti is exceptionally brittle/tough when machining.

Think of machining HSS and then you're starting to get on the right track.

Lots of coolant, a rigid setup and machine, the more flutes the better. Modern Machine Shop's website even has a Ti-Machining section now, though mostly relating to the Aerospace and Medical fields.

Funny that some one kinda already hinted at it. I want to bore out a Ti boombstick back to hold inserts.

Don't waste the boomstick back, those suckers are expensive enough.
