braided line or macro line?

So what do you like to run and why?

Some people swear by one or the other, and I'd like to get everyones opinion.

Thanks all.

Hardlines are best.
Otherwise Braided Stainless is the way to go.

Macroline is much weaker, and not sutable for the pressures in paintball, unless you are using an LP-output HPA tank. It also think its ugly.
Microline is actually rated higher then macroline

Good point, I should have stated in places where you can't use a hardline.

Thanks HP

What about grease gun hose? I heard you could use that before.

Braided works best with CO2 and with configurations you aren't going to change (although quick releases would work in that instance).

Macroline works best for me with HPA and when I want to swap airtanks between guns (I run armageddons and not ASA-screw in tanks).

SS Braided for co2 use and macroline for HPA use..

And there is some macroline out there that is rated higher.. at 1500 burst pressure.

SS braided, got rid of all the crappy macro.
Got tired of wiggleing the hose to stop the leaks.:hammer:

Phantom Power 12-19-2006 02:02 AM

SS braided all the way. Loctite the fittings and never worry about leaks again :D

I'm a big fan of microline. It doesn't impress alot of people when the fittings start leaking on me, but when everything's in good shape there's nothing else as durable, clean and convenient.

SS braided, it's tough and you don't have to worry about getting hurt by it if it blows ( that's what the braids are for). There is an old thread in here with a nice macroline blow out in it.
