Kingman hammer to semi-automatic?

Anybody know how to convert a Kingman hammer to semi-automatic. Is it possible to get an auto cocker to hook on the rear of the body. I am using a hammer for a project and I like the slender profile. I don't know much about the auto cockers and I just a rough idea of how they work.

Essentially, you want a 3way attached to the trigger, actuating the same process as a cocker. You'll need to hide the Low Pressure regulator somewhere, and route the gas through the 3way to a ram which will be hooked to the bolt of the existing gun.

This is an old out of production kit for Nelsons, the Chameleon, which should give you some ideas.

Does the Chameleon provide a double action trigger of sorts or does it actually cock the hammer as well as set the trigger?

Perhaps this would accomplish the same thing?

A Mag would probably be much easier for a semi-auto application. Everything's in one tube, and the trigger mechanism can be easily relocated.

If you get an R/T or Xvalve, you can use the response trigger mode. You can achieve full auto by either staying in the sweetspot of the pull, or by setting trigger stops.

Will this cause more bulk or funkeyness ......eg: double trigger, etc? Thanks

I am suffering an illness known as Internet disease. It started in the year 2000 with eBay then spread to Airsoft guns, and now paintball. I am out of control......... but I have to say I really like this website ........ lots of great paint gun modifications and tips.

Nope, you can use an RT/X with a single trigger. Many people like their doubles, as tournaments are semi-automatic only. Single triggers still allow for the response effect and full auto. I'm glad you're liking the site - judging by your taste in guns, I'd say you belong here!
