Is this a Rock or some other LPR

I just recently got this brass LPR and I have no idea if it is a Rock or not. Did Palmers ever do an all brass LPR?

Have a look:

It works, with the exception of it leaks out of the output nipple. It looks like someone tried to solder it in place, and it did not take well. The nipple turns and turns, but does not come out or tighten up, it just spins all day long.

Also, I never saw a nylon locking screw on the back of a Rock. What is that for? Does not make sense to me.

Finally, if you look at the front, there is a pin of some kind, I suppose for helping the front cap stay on, was not normal back in the day? There is another one directly opposite it on the other side.

Okay, can anyone give me more info on this one?

Thanks,

Tony

Thanks Ian.

I think I was not clear on the pin/hole. By the front, I meant the front in the second picture, if you look there is a pin inside that hole, I think it must be holding in that front cap, but what a way to do it.

yep, old brass rock...
You could probably just add some heat to the nipple and the soldier would reset itself.

and the use of the roll pin, that's old school baby, lol.
