| Thick | Sl-68II valve removal?
My SL has a slight cupseal leak, however I can't figure out how to get the valve out of the body. I don't see any external screws holding it in and I don't want to force it. If somebody could send me a clue, I'd very much appreciate it.

Use a wooden dowel and tap it out.

Remove the back cap and valve spring first. Then take off the barrel and remove the bolt, spring and hammer from the body. Insert a wooden dowel or something that won't damage the power tube into the front of the body and tap the valve guts out the back. Mine was REALLY stiff in there, and took a good deal of elbow grease to get out. I was fairly concerned about hurting it, but it really did take a good whack. It was all good though.
