You may want to send this guy a message on eBay, STLCHOPPERS. He is what is left of NitroDuck and has been selling off new old stock for quite some time. He may have what you are looking for. Oh and if that doesn't work did I mention I have used tanks for sale...

we had a machinist make up 20 adapters for us. we had 20 of those old bluish tanks that are behemoths. came out to about $10 per adapter. so its always worth asking!

The negative is that a few accidents have resulted from using adapters. The typical problem is that the adapter renders the safety vent useless, leading to bottle rocket accidents.

HP. the adapters we had made are basically used as a shim. the adapter is permanently sealed to the old tank threads. pretty much creating new threads for the valve to screw into. not one problem since installing them and the safety vent works perfectly. and sorry Degull, no adapters left
