I have a brand new to me 2006 Grey Ghost. It has a slow leak down the barrel. I'm getting about 15 full power shots and then it drops off and out of Co2. I have cleaned, inspected, lightly lubed and the problem is still there. The cup seal appears in perfect condition. Could it be the springs maybe? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, John |

I've heard this works, but never tried it myself: Chuck the power tube in a drill, with the cupseal and valve retainer in their respective places. Put some toothpaste on the cupseal face, spin it up and pull the retainer so that it is contacting the cupseal. The other thing is that the o-ring on the retainer may be damaged.

Yeah what russc is talking about is lapping the cupseal and valve seat. Also another trick is to drop the valve assembly sans valve body and spring into boiling water for about 5-10 minutes then place it with the spring into the valve body under tension let it set for about a hour and cycle it with air to see if that works.
