I am a bad person, I know. Why would anyone want to change the awesome power of an ATS? Because I feel it has some drawbacks. The forward loaders have to be jiggled to feed and the mags are a handful when they arent working right. I decided to make a monster that had only the lightweight and full auto perks of an ATS with none of the drawbacks. I decided to do the unthinkable. Send your hate mail here. I am not alone. I have sought out the help of a new friend to help me in my quest. CHE$HIR3 has been a huge help on this journey, despite us living in separate countries he has provided much needed idea bounce as well as insight and tech support gained from his own incredible mods. He even helped by buying some things from me to aid my progress financially (keep an eye out for his soon to be project). I suggest you check him out here or on X7og aswell. Galil ACE Phenom (Project Jaguar) He continues to help me and is an awesome guy. Please dont hurt him, he was only trying to help me.... Chapter ONE AS MY ATS WAS ![]() And Stripped down a bit ![]() Here is the mock up of what I am aiming for, this will change as things progress, but I am making a MODERN style pp-19. This is a first draft of what I envision... CHE$H mocked it up on the computer. Last edited by SKULL; 07-21-2012 at 04:31 PM. |

I was interested in doing the same some time ago. I actually drew up a quick file as to how to modify the magazine to fit almost flush in the well and feed. Course, my end result was to be this:

Always loved PP-19 style guns, although I'm not really digging the "modernized" version you are pursuing, I will still follow this build with interest. foughtwolf, 08th MS Team was my favorite Gundam series

Thanks guys. I have modded the inside of the breech tube on my ats to accept a flush, no hosed, qloader CSM direct feed. ill post pics when i get to the feed portion of the build. that gun you have there looks pretty cool btw foughtwolf jerryjackson69, i know the old pp-19 is a bad-boy, but i just wondered what it could be in the future, its helical mag is already unique, i see it coming out more modern one day such as the good old AK47 has. glad you like it enough to watch this, ill try not to let ya down. |

In order to get that AK angled look on the top receiver, I have cut my m4 dummy charging handle and rail and sanded it to a similar angle. ![]() The new shroud ![]() the result so far, PLUS new MIAD Magpul grip. note shroud will be upside down as in this pic most likely, it gives the angled front of a pp-19 that way. second pic has the top (bottom) rail added ![]() Last edited by SKULL; 08-07-2012 at 09:52 PM. |

That being said, I don't mind non-wood on guns, I love Heckler & Koch guns (although I'm not a fan of their company) I'm just tired on classic old guns having a foregrip with a bunch of rails slapped on it. The helical mags look cool, but I still find them impractical. The PP-19 01 Vityaz is my favorite. Especially with a wood foregrip

well this beast wont be for everyone i guess. But the standard pp-19 is metal and plastic anyhow so i figure what the heck ill jazz it up. Also it was my ATS that was bugging me with its character flaws so i had to do something that would work with the ATS's plastic modern body. i dont think wood would (ha double wood) look good with it really. also its weight is its best feature in my opinion, for a full sized death machine to weigh under 3 pounds is pretty great and i wanna keep that intact.

It is most definitely your marker and your build, and you should do as you like with it. I was just voicing my preferences and opinions, I apologize if it came across in an offensive or demeaning manner. Still excited for this project!
