Thumbs up AT-85 kicks @ss and a thanks to Gumby!!!

after wanting an AT-85 for years and finally ordering one recently, it arrived yesterday. this is the most fun i've had in a long time!!!! my son and i went through one 47 ci tank, and we could've gone through a few more if i had them.

i also want to give a BIG THANKS to Gumby for helping out with a shipping issue. i'm not sure if ATS realizes the advantages of having someone like Gumby who is available on this web site. there have only been a handful of businesses i've come across that make use of the internet to help with customer service issues on a personal level, and in my dealings it has always been a positive experience. Gumby, THANKS!!!!

i do have one question, about how many rounds should i get from a full (3000 psi) 47 ci tank? it is an aluminum tank, not one of the carbon fiber ones, if that makes a difference.

also, thanks to everyone here at MCB. i'm a total newbie to paintball, so i've just been reading. nothing much to post.

My guess is that your looking at 400 shots at the good end from a 47/3k

Being aluminum or fiber wrapped makes no difference, 47 cubic inches of air at 3000 psi is the same regardless of what is holding it (unless it is a heat absorbing pressure maximizer..which is fake)

the difference is that carbon tanks are generally 4.5k while steel tanks are only 3k , but the difference between a 3k steel and 3k carbon is 0 except for weight
