So I just scored an At4 with 2 magazines from my boss. It is in great shape and works awesome. It was shooting 278-285 with valken graffitti this weekend. I'm not new to ATS markers. I picked up an at85 from Marauderpilot a couple of years ago and had fun with it until the older magazine took a dump on me. It was an early marker, never coverted for hpa use. ( Still has the brass screen in the asa). Can I use hpa on the at85 without damaging it? Now that I have a couple of good magazines, I'd like to be able to use it again. If I need to send it in to Gumby first, I'll do it. I'd rather not screw up a decent ATS. Does anyone have an extra velocity adjuster that they would be willing to part with? I now have 2 ATS's and 0 ways to adjust the velocity. Here is a pic of the new family member. Thanks for your help MCB. |

Using HPA on a CO2 gun can work, but most of the time it will not. You'll have a lower velocity (sometimes topping out below 250fps), some guns would cycle too quickly so you would have multiple shots or a run-a-way gun when you pull the trigger, and there is also a chance of the hammer sear snapping off with the higher ROF.
