long clip

Hey,
Very cool pics. I talked to tagline years ago about longer clips for more capicity and they said don't bother because the chains will stretch if you make them longer than stock. Did you test this clip? Were they just yanking my chain cuz they did not want to market a long clip? Pardon the pun

The long one holds about sixteen balls on the chain and feed well. The problem is that the weight of the extra paint(about 65) puts too much pressure where it funnels. This causes empty spots and you find yourself shaking it constantly.

The other two are two mags box-car-ed together and a double sided vl clip both of which work perfectly.

I always wonder about building a larger box around the stock magazine, with the balls held just above the chain. It would end up awfully wide though.

If someone could get me some CADD files: Team mate of mine has some nice lathe and mill equipment.

short run..

With the popularity of aluminum molds for short run injection jobs you'd think someone would decide to build a few hundred big loaders. There's got to be a market for them at $20-$30 each.
