| i would use 2 seperate devicesinstead of a single one. i accually hve two solenoid valves that im planning to build a semi auto rocket laucher with that weigh merly ounces, and only need 12 volts, then put a palmer in front, or something similar...although im not entirly sure that this is what you are looking for

| Well, I'm collecting ideas for 'backpack' style loader powered by CO2. I'd like to be able to enable/disable it via a sensor of some sort. Perhaps actuated via the sound of the marker firing like some electronic loaders are doing these days. In the mean time I'm working on this.. ![]() ![]() << inspired by LeopoldStotch mod for the RAP4 >> Anyone have any thoughts on running a tube a forward loader vs using a side feed mag with this ammo box setup? Reloader B arrives early next week. Last edited by onecaribou; 04-26-2008 at 08:05 PM. |

| m249 box mag Hello, I've been following this thread and the other one about the RAP4 mag for awhile and I like the "hopper" mod below the gun. I have an AT85 and I want to create my own mod. What I'm thinking is the M249 box magazine style. I already have the hopper adapter but has a somewhat awkward feel to it. Before I start, I have a question about the feeding system. Was it a Reloader B or Reloader B2? What other hopper systems or what would you recommend that I could use that will force balls vertically? I going to buy this and try to mod it. Maybe I'll have to weld 16 gauge sheet metal to resemble the box mag and go from there but the weight would be too much. The m249 box mag dimensions are 197x160x80mm. I constructed a cardboard box of the stated dimensions, which roughly held 500+ rounds. That estimate is without the internal parts, AT85 mag and the diagonal slant that the box mag has. Perhaps around a 400 +/- round capacity. After typing this up, I think I'll go with the prefab airsoft box mag for time and cost of building my own from the ground up. Another thought, perhaps I will fabricate my own box mag and reduce the size/capacity for weight and aesthetic purposes. What you think? | Hey Lito, Now that's what I call a Box Mag! Those prefab airsoft boxes look good but you are going to find them to be really small. I really had to work to get 200 rounds into the 5000 BB airsoft loader. Here's a couple images of my nearly complete AT-85 Ammo Box mod.. ![]() ![]() |

| Wow, that site and the other sites related to the box mag is very helpful. Thanks Smiley! I like the ATS system, due to the fact that the box mag is detachable. DETACHABLE!! Which means I could bring a few spare box mags out to the field and increase the firepower. I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm still in the "planning" stage of this project. I'd like to publicly thank LeopoldStotch and onecaribou for their help and input so far. |

| Instead of a regular Halo drive You might also look into using a "BT-RIP-Clip-by-HALO" as it has more of a side output and it is sound activated. The hopper comes off like an A5 cyclone. They can new on ebay for about $75 BT RIP Clip by HALO Fits BT-4 swat combat & delta - eBay (item 150246407835 end time May-18-08 20:00:00 PDT) ![]()
