To lower clip to reset gun simply turn allen screw, rotate q socket a pull down clip. You also need to glue in a piece of plastic L from like a tape or cd case in clip to prevent qloader pods back feeding paint to 1st chain link in front of VL adapter tube. Advantages: 1. Qloader pod facing right way for quick changes and also on left side of gun. 2. ATS guns perfect for q loader because gun can still be shoot while changing q pods. You still have 11 shots in clip and in tube. All other guns can't shoot while reloading empty q pods. 3. Q pods feed at 30bps and feed chain directly 1 on top of another which prevents chain from being damaged and alows for cycle rate to be increased on the ATS guns. 4. You can really play speed ball now ![]() 5. Direct feed which prevents Q Pods from breaking paint. Much better than using qloaders long bendy grey feed hose which allows paint to accerlate too fast when changing an empty pod thus causing older/cheap paint to break. I'm also going to lower the prewinds to help prevent the ball accelerating issue. With that configuration, is the L bracket mod still needed?

I never did attempt to run it without modifying the mag since I could see the reasoning behind doing the "L". Last edited by onecaribou; 06-04-2008 at 10:27 PM.. I tried looking at tmart's pics close up, and after looking at the mag, I can't see where you'd put the "L" bracket without impeding the chain. I can see where you could put one to the left of the first link between the 2 chains, but I don't see that in the pics above.

Not as big a deal once you have a fresh pod plugged in, but you'll still be shooting blanks, just later rather than sooner.
