| Newbie | Little Lost Rubber So after years of use, it looks like one of the pins in my magazine has lost it's rubber cover. The metal pin is intact. So what is the best way to get this fixed. Should I use heat-shrink-tube (what size)?, electrical tape? Or is it time for me to just get a new magazine? Thanks in Advance. |

| The answer will depend on the type of paint you normally use. I know that people have taken all the cushions off and ran for years without problems with thick shelled paint. Brittle paint needs a bit more cushion. The chain lugs are .035" thick so if you want to increase the diameter select a tubing that will close down to that diameter. So basically if it bugs you, then you can fix it but you don't need to. |
