I compared my AT-10 to my Vector in loudness/sound. It's almost as loud as the Vec, but sounds very different. Like somebody said, it's more of a crack, like a Trracer, and has a little 'tink' sound that accompanies it.

The internals are crazy complex. Don't go messing with it if you don't know what you're doing.

I regret trading mine off.

Duly noted. I don't tear my guns down unless I have to or I'm tinkering, neither of which should happen to an ATS.

Nope, still don't care for Smart Parts.
Gimmie a few minutes alone with the Palmer catalog and I'll get back to you again.

Thanks for all your responses guys. I am unsubscribing now. You talked me out of it. Not cocker threaded, not my idea of a woodsball gun and too spendy for the technology. I think I will go build that warp feed mag after all.

This is going to sound strange but I am going to say it anyway. It almost sounds like a small pistol primer going off. Now because of the uniqueness of the internals it feels like an airsoft Gas-Blowback gun, so if you have it up to your shoulder it gives you a slight twitch, not real recoil, but definitely more than one would expect from a paintball gun. Most people who I let try my gun have said they feel something that passes for recoil.

Intimidation factor, we have not even covered. At the G.I. Joe scenario game in Memphis, TN in 2003, we decided to do a Mad Minute with 5 ATS guns going full-auto. We played Cobra (Crimson Guards to be exact) and we have been ahead all day. They decided to put all 150 of us in a section with a very narrow opening to give the Joes a little advantage. My crew and I looked at one another and said Mad Minute. The videographer asked what is a Mad Minute. We smiled and said "...You'll see..." 3-2-1..the 5 of us step out of the chute and just UNLOAD in Rock and Roll for a full 60 seconds. The kids on both sides, videographer and all thought we had switch to life fire and hit the dirt. We had to grab our kids and make them run out the chute. They got clear and into their positions before the Joes could overrun us. After the event was over people came up to us and swore it was the scariest sound they ever heard on a paintball field and thought for a second real guns were going off around them.
