| What makes ats markers so great? I am thinking of looking for an 85 but need some heavy convincing. Looks like they are a nelson based semi auto correct? Are they that great to shoot? What threads are the barrels? Anything else I should know?

| Satinist, So Soft! | Mechanical select fire clip fed marker. Whats not cool about that? Really that is all I can add. I shot one at a field once and liked it. No hopper in the way. Could flip it to full auto with a toggle. No batteries. A bit on the mil-sim side but still cool.

| just got mine up-and-running today...the tanks you sell are perfect for these (i got the two i bought from you by-the-way, pretty, pretty)...definitely mil-sim, but can't beat it for the lack of a hopper and quick swap from semi to full auto in a pinch, with decent accuracy to boot...a good working knowledge of cockers and nelson-based markers is a good idea...i wasn't sure what i was getting when i traded for mine, but now having fired it, i'd do the trade again in a heartbeat!

| i truly love mine- everyone takes a second look, there accurate, and there scary. my at-4 is as accurate as my 3 times regulated angel a4 fly with a deadly wind freak. just love the things. just get one, you'll never regret it.- one tip- know your gun inside and out, know how and why it works, then it will never fail you.

| Man, I just love my AT-85. Super accurate, light and really fast. ATS use their own threads so you won't find many 3rd party barrels. Loud Thunder of Northern Command has a freak kit out and is releasing a barrel mod soon. Keep in mind these stock barrels are by no means typical 'stock' throwaways. They are definitely comparable to most premium barrels I've ever tried on other markers. ATS uses a unique 'Unisizer' (aliminum tube with wax inside) that sits between the breach and the barrel that does an awesome job handling paint of any size I've encountered. My only complaint on the AT-85 is that the Forward Loaders can be a little fussy (shake, shake, shake) in terms of feed rate if you are shooting at a high ROF. I've done some minor dremel work to some of mine to get a faster flow of paint to the magazine. I also built an ammo box mod to up the capacity to 200 balls. |

about the barrels. the unisizers are great- there 90% of a freak kit with out the money or hassle. the stock barrels for these things are great- there 2 step micro honed bored barrels.

| Rec Poster | Hang on..hang on...before you think we all have drank the kool-aid and have been converted by the mothership, what style of paintball do you play? Yes, we all love our ATS guns and consider it one of the best. Have to agree with everybody else. The stock barrel is the way to go..there is nothing you need to do with it as far as accuracy goes. The internals and feed systems is completely unique. I completely agree with whoever said, know the gun inside and out and it will serve you well and for a long time. It is a fun gun to shoot...especially if you are in to scenario and milsim. |

| i think that we can all assume that if your interested in a ats then you have some basis in scenario paintball but its true- wouldn't try taking one to a airball match- unless its a at-10 with a hopper.
