What to do with my TS1

Last time I played was maybe 15 years ago. I got the Tagline TS-1 (first couple of hundred from the serial number). Never got it to work. It would only shoot at 310 fps and would stop shooting below that. Sent it in 3 times, but they couldn't fix it.

Anyhoo, started playing again and was wondering if anyone know if the TS-1 can be upgraded to AT85 or just buy a new AT85.

I believe that the folks at ATS can upgrade you to the newest internals. I think I've read in a couple places that the original CO2 setup was never all that great and that the upgrade will give you a much better experience.

Look for Gumby - he's an ATS guru who works there and should be able to help you out.

sweet gun.

edit- my bad thought that it was a entire valve swap. sorry

I thought there was a $50 fix Gumby could do to upgrade TS1's to AT-85's.

Make a barrel extension, or send the barrel to someone to be ported. Voila, instant fps loss and your gun works.

Yes it can be upgraded to current.
Thats correct the HPA Conversion takes care of most if not all of the internal issues with the TS1's. The vast majority of your issues are going to be from running it on CO2 (the majority not all). Your FPS issues are more then likely in part to your reg setting. It will probably be needing some other items and parts replacements just from sitting for so long with out being used.

You can upgrade your barrel to the At85 barrel with a Unisizer that should help.

The conversion that Snipe0101 is reffering to is the conversion from AT 85 To Tactical 85 which runs about 250 or so. But thats mostly because of the accesories that are added to the 85's (Mostly not completely).

According to Gumby, since he brought it back to life and checked its records I have prototype number 3 of the the TS-1s. It never had a serial number until Robb stamped the number 3 on it. I have never fried it more than a few times since Gumby brought it back. I keep it for collection if nothing else. The AT-85 that I do shoot was also a CO2, but I had it converted to HPA. It has see LOTS of field time and have yet to fail me.
