Small Leak

Oh Great Gumby,

I have a tiny leak in the rear housing of my AT-85 Tactical. The leak is not severe, but I am pretty sure it should get fixed before things get bad. The gun still cycles well and I am still shooting within the 285fps range. The leak comes from TS1286. The leak can easily be stopped by putting a finger on that screw. However, it is really hard to shoot with a finger on the rear assembly like that.

Great Gumby, is it something I can do to take care of that, or do I need to send the rear housing back to the great Mecca of ATS, and let you lay hands on it?

Your better off sending it in for repairs instead of trying to fix it yourself. I say that simply because this is a high pressure area and if everything isnt done properly, well lets just say your

I am pretty sure that is going to be the case. Just wanting a second opinion. Oh Lord Thunder, thanks for processing and shipping my order so quickly. The magazines and oil came in on the date promised.

Here's some more food for thought Mic. If you are pressing your finger against the leak there is a chance of giving yourself an air embolism. Just send me your housing and I will lay my hands upon it.

In that case, I will either e-mail you or call you on the phone, Robb and set that up for a delivery to ya.

Thanks for all the advice folks.

The Great Gumby does it again. I got my rear receiver back. Assembled all the parts and cycled air through. No runs, no leaks, and no drips. It works.

I will give it a field test soon.

Thanks Gumby.
