LOWEST pressure cocker
whos had a crazy low pressure cocker?

mech/elctro/pump dont matter

whats the lowest somebody has recorded (to shoot 280-300fps)

dont care about efficiency, dont care about rof, just operating pressure

Not sure who.... but I want to make a cocker that doesn't need an LPR

I've run a 2k Blazer down to something like 275psi. I've heard of people tuning them way down - 150-200psi? You can really dip into the tank at that point - 2000 shots a fill kinda deal. Dead quiet even at 275psi.

150 is the # im hoping to hear....

i have an idea... but it requires super low pressure :D

I have my outkast with rat 3:16 valve shooting at around 180psi.

Rudy Deans have been documented at 125 psi.

thats with the GIANT volumizer right?

You need a AKA valve....Ravi did a review of AKA low pressure system. You may need to have your cocker drilled out to get the most out of the valve. Volumizer, bolt and tight barrel....good luck!

sooo hear me out....

tank screws into a reg (palmers asa reg or in grip reg like a mini)
air goes through the grip
build a rail that is say... 1/4" or 3/8" hollow rail
ion style 1/8 OD hose to a banjo into the pump kit
pump arm drilled out as a volumizer

i would need an extra long lug

use a mini'd body to avoid the vert air holes
use a halfblock to get at the lug easier

it would need to be super LP because 1/8" OD hose wont last over about 200psi

Cool Idea. But what about old school microcline? I have an entire coiled remote microcline. Only one fitting on it. I will try scavenge a pic. Weren't they rated at a higher pressure?

Ya that stuff!

Yup. But the valve chamber was also bored out enough to make a Merlin feel insecure. It was stated the valve chamber's ID is what yielded the low pressure. The massive LPC simply provided enough reserve air to keep it fed. The entire body was designed around low pressure operation. I really need to build mine...
