Eye Hole Repair

Anyone have any good ideas how to repair a hackjob eye hole? I recently bought a ccm s5 with a hole that looks like someone dug out with a dremel and needs some serious help. I plan on having this dura-coated, so color shouldn't be a problem.

Since you don't have to worry about a funky anno blemish, I'd say welding it in would be the best permanent solution.
