You can also try flipping the old one over, as the bottom should still be smooth. The spring wears a groove into the seat over time, which can cause problems.

WGP reg leaking from the pin hole is either a bad piston o'ring or a bad stem o'ring: parts 58 and 10 in this diagram (resurrection reg is the same internally as WGP's except for the swivel collar and cap; so much so, you can order almost any part and have it work on WGP regs):



I've rebuilt 2 WGP sledgehammer LPRs using resurrection parts
