I have a proposition, which I think will be of serious interest for many of us.

Rather than producing a stock length (4"), iFit insert barrel as an upgrade, we offer an extended model Retro 7 with a 6" freak compatible barrel, with Ty Mcneer brass insert available for additional price. I figure it would be about a $60 upgrade price, and $30 for insert (same as it would cost me to make ifit inserts).

Currently we have 13 people expecting to get the insert style barrels, if everyone likes this plan, we can do it. and it will be awesome

If I may ask, is the 12-gram oriented 90*? Or is it actually going to be angled backwards slightly? It looks like the valve and possibly the piercing pin is behind the 12-gram knob. I'd also prefer the extended 6" barrel model that accepts freak inserts!

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

oriented 90 degrees is correct. the piercepin is custom and screws in from the top of the frame, the air to valve goes through a passage inside the frame. piercepin is 316 surgical stainless, and uses a teflon seat for the 12 gram which is also installed from the top, and locked in place by the piercepin... should last forever

PS. the extended Retro looks DEADLY with the pump handle. looks like a retro, nightmare, and sawedoff shotty all made a baby together. a really mean, full grown baby you can shoot people with.

sounds like a damn good plan....will the proposed duck/box gun kits still be made as well to accept this change?
this just keeps getting better

I'm going to be a pain. I'm not liking the long barrel version. Too long for my tastes. I would much rather the 4 inch iFit insert barrel system.

Duckbox no issue, they will also use the freak insert barrel, and they will use their own feed style (either a very slim one-piece feed, or moving feed attached to the slide, havent decided yet).

Well then Jackson, I guess I'll just have to make you a custom one on the manual lathe then, wont I?

prepayments stay the same, it would just change the balanced owed prior to shipment (cost of optional upgrades, cost of shipping)

I'm gonna have to make the call on this by tomorrow afternoon, thursday the parts are starting in the shop.
