Gen 2 Serial #23 still sits on a shelf unplayed with 11 feet behind me. The wait time, that it showed up already broken and a few other factors turned me off paintball again. I haven't played in over two years now at all. Which reminds me, now that I'm selling on ebay I should get around to moving some gear.

Reckon I might as well be on this list as I intend to hold onto this pistol indefinitely.

It was the one dgoreman47 had. Either way, I'm stoked

It looks like #3 will be back in my hands in 12 weeks. Seems that the post office has been holding it for the last year or so.

So soon after I got #3 in the first run a few years ago I sold it to a member here in Anaheim CA for $700.

I shipped it USPS Priority with confirmation and insurance for $700.

A few days later the guy I sold it to sends me a PM flipping out that the gun is all bent up. He sends me some pictures and indeed the top tube (cam and jam) somehow has a dent in it where you'd stick the ten round tube in. I'm baffled as to how this can get dented since I used packing pillows on the bottom and top of the gun and two layers of bubble wrap tapped around the gun.

I tell him I'll contact USPS and file an insurance claim. Long story short USPS declines the claim 3 times sighting improper packaging. I apparently used to big of bubble wrap. The bubbles were 1 inch in diameter. If I used smaller bubble wrap the they would of been to small etc.

USPS would not budge on it at all. No where on their website states how packages are to be sent etc. I got the bubble wrap from my local post office. Everyone I spoke to on the phone stated that USPS should honor the claim and when I wrote the letters with the pictures of how it was packaged they just flat declined the claim every time with a cookie cutter letter.

The guy I sold it to filed a claim with Paypal and got his $700 through his credit card company. Leaving me without the gun and the money.

Fast forward to this morning. My dad wakes me up screaming about my name is in the news paper and that the government has my property. I follow the instructions in the paper and go to Missingmoney.com to claim my property. Whatever they have of mine will take up to 12 weeks to process and get back to me. The only thing that I can think of that the government could have of mine is my R7.

So in 4 months I may need a new top tube.

Well I hope it's the gun and you get it soon. I can supply you a new feed tube no problem

no charge for it besides anodizing and shipping... sounds like you've already had a hell of a time!
