good eye sir!!! and dear god, I WISH I HAD AN HLV-H. Hopefully someday I will, if I can find one! It's actually a DV-59, currently configured plain turning, though I'll be picking up the 6-position turret and two-way cross-slide eventually for rapid small parts production when I've got some extra cash to spend on it... love that machine though. Hardinge is the very best!

HVL-H would be the ultimate. Have you seen the copies coming out of Taiwan under the Cyclematic label? Still runs you at least $20k.

DV-59 is a pretty nice little machine to. You should be able to crank out the small repetitive parts pretty quickly once you have it up and running.

Yea there are some custom made hardinge retrofit/overhauls with cnc-manual configs you can get for a hefty sum as well... HLV on steroids basically. Do want

Either that or a Monarch 10EE with an AC drive installed. 40 millionth runnout standard, and full speed threading. A red & chrome one.
