Ok, So I bought all the fun parts from Jkoselka!

trying to install them now.

Just to confirm, I need to block off the air passage from the in grip changer correct?

Easy way to do this is? I cant get the gas transfer plug to come out!

What would happen if I put a 12g in the ingrip changer and the VSC changer at the same time?

Edit: So I did this for now with an empty 12g in the grip... It is holding air and shooting!

Should be fun if I try and put in two fresh 12g!

IIRC, and hoping Apoc will chime in, there is a check valve for the in-grip 12g that allows you to hold a shot in the valve while changing the 12g.

I'm thinking you can forgo the in-grip and run solely the bucket.

No, there is no check valve. a VSC bucket changer with a check valve added into it can allow the gun to run two 12 grams at the same time, although you can't change the in-grip charge until the gas is empty... but you can change the bucket changer charge any time without de-gassing the gun. This is something I've had on the backburner for a bit, the so called "DSC" configuration. Once I get caught up it's a priority for this year (a DSC config would allow a VSC sized Retro to carry over 100 shots worth of co2!)

NO Way!

So I put a fresh 12g into the grip and it wont blow out the VSC? So I can then put a fresh 12g into the VSC and effectively run two 12g in the gun?

TOO COOL!!!

Oh wait, just re read that...I need to add a check valve to the VSC changer first...

How do I do this?

Correct, but yea you need the check valve. I'd have to make said check valves, incorporated into custom bucket changer... any talented airsmith could probably modify an appropriate changer to do this as well. or even do something sloppier like attach one in-line between the changer and the valve, externally.

LOL, sorry. if it helps...I didn't think of it. I just sort of stumbled on it because you did such a good job of installing the lower gas transfer port that I couldn't get it out...

yea, you'll need to put the valve body in a vise with leather/soft jaws and the appropriate tight fitting allen key into the port, as far as it will go, then it can be removed. Later I can get you a MkIII valve body which uses a plug-in transfer port instead of thread-in, they are much better.
